Antique Japanese (c1880) Signed Tokkuri Large Sake Jug Sake Bottle (Vase) 13" Shinhanga 5" W (108 × 34This is an antique Japanese large sake jug from the late Meiji Era (c. 1880). This one is 13. 5" tall and covered on three sides with very decorative calligraphy. This type of sake jug was one of the first recyclables in that it could be returned to the sake company that made it and be refilled. It is all hand made and fired at high temperatures for lasting durability. This large ceramic sake jug measures 6" in diameter by 13 1 2" tall (15 x 34 cm)
